Indu Navar
Founder and Chief Executive Officer


Indu is a seasoned technologist and entrepreneur who has contributed to the success of a number of outstanding Silicon Valley companies. As co-founder and president of RightOn, she led the team responsible for the creation of a Web- and wireless-based scheduling solution for the service industry.


She was also a member of the original engineering team at Healtheon, creators of WebMD, where she oversaw the design and architecture of the healthcare infrastructure applications and was instrumental in using emerging technologies to achieve application scalability, reliability and performance.

At Silicon Graphics, Indu was responsible for developing intranet productivity applications to streamline call handling and training of customer support engineers. She also founded and served as president of Aquasoft Consulting; developed a software media distribution solution for Cisco System's supply chain; and worked with NASA to develop a flight data recorder extraction and simulation application.

In India, she led the development of wireless telephony systems for the Indian Telephone Company, providing remote villages with phone communication for the first time. She holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Bangalore University, India, and an M.S. in computer science from California State University, Chico. Watch Video

Robert Gunn
Sr. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer


Robert Gunn has more than 22 years of senior management experience in high technology companies and a proven track record in technology startups. Prior to joining Serus in 2004, Robert was president and CEO of PhysicianAccess.com, an e-health company that developed the first Internet-based application to address the clinical, business and patient needs of private practice physicians.


Prior to PhysicianAccess, Robert was an original member of the board of directors at Cobalt Networks, Inc., a leading Internet and intranet server company. As an advisor to the CEO during the company’s formation and as Vice President of Sales, he was responsible for the creation of worldwide marketing and sales strategies.

Cobalt was purchased by Sun Microsystems in November 2000 for $2 billion. In addition, Robert has held executive-level sales and marketing positions at Micronics Computers, a leading supplier of advanced system boards and multimedia peripherals, and TriQuint Semiconductor, a leading manufacturer of integrated circuits for cellular phones and wireless networks.

Robert received his B.S. in business administration with a concentration in marketing and finance from San Jose State University.

Geoff Annesley
CTO and GM, Enterprise Solutions


Geoff has extensive knowledge and experience creating mission critical enterprise manufacturing and distributed control (SCADA) systems for electrical, gas/water distributions systems, robotics control systems, and semi-conductor manufacturing arenas. He has designed, built and deployed industrial real-time automation software systems, robotics motion planning systems, shop floor operations planning and execution, and advanced planning and scheduling systems.


He successfully led the development and deployment of distributed monitoring & control systems for San Diego Electric & Gas, Georgia Power, City of New York Water Systems, City of Helsinki Water Distribution, & Syncrude Oil. Geoff has also developed software solutions based on network flow models and network control/execution theory combined with repair based search algorithms for companies such as AMD, NVidia, TSMC & UMC.

Geoff has played key strategic and execution roles at successful startups including, Valmet Automation, Beta Monitors & Controls, Motion Factory (sold to Microsoft) and Interval Logic (acquired by PRI/Brooks Automation).

Prior to joining Serus, Geoff was VP of Engineering and co-founder of Optimal Planning Science and director of engineering at Interval Logic/Brooks Automation. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Production Engineering from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Anand Iyer
Sr. Vice President


Prior to joining Serus, Anand spent the last 13 years at i2 Technologies where he was responsible for the Global Process Consulting practice. In this role Anand led a group of 23 consultants responsible for domestic and international customers across a wide variety of industries including Semiconductor, High-Tech, Metals, Pharmaceutical, Chemicals and Downstream Oil.


He was also responsible for incubating i2's Managed Services business and managing the company's global patent portfolio. Over his career in Supply Chain Management, Anand has held positions in R & D, Product Management, and Product Marketing.

He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals like IIE Transactions and The European Journal of Operations Research as well as articles in practitioner-oriented magazines like APICS and Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

He is the author of several US and international patents. Anand earned a M. S in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D in Systems & Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona.
