Global Execution Decision System (GEDS)

The Global Execution Decision System (GEDS) bridges the gap between master planning and shop floor execution. The GEDS translates demand or master planning output into detailed site shop floor and shipping instructions. The GEDS is targeted at the operations planning area typically dominated by planners using excel based planning systems to manually translate SCP outputs into execution plans.

Advanced scenario planning and allocation management provides detailed insight into how to best allocate supply and make decisions to meet order commitments.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Multi Site LEAN Pull based execution planning and scheduling
  • Multi Level LEAN Inventory Optimization Network (LION)
  • Actuals based WIP planning
  • Cost and Margin Projections linked to individual inventory units and orders
  • Obeys detailed constraints (Resources, Freight Caps, Start Constraints, Cycle Time, etc…) and provides tradeoff analysis
  • Considers N-Level supply chains, N-Level distribution networks, network BOMs, alternate components, alternate processes, alternate equipment and multi level binning and downgrading.
  • Multi Objective: Minimize inventory, maximize OTD, minimizes yield loss, minimizes downgrading, etc…
  • Auto generates material, lot and unit level instructions

BENEFITS:

  • Improves Productivity: Automates operations execution planning process
  • Improves supply demand alignment
  • Improves Cash Flow & OTD
  • Minimizes Inventory Risk
